Presentation

This demonstrator focuses on the manufacture of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics for high-tech applications such as medical ultrasound probes and sonar. Additive manufacturing makes it possible to create complex composite structures that are impossible to produce using traditional methods, which are time-consuming, manual, and generate a lot of waste. The goal is to develop more efficient acoustic transducers with a wider frequency range and better sensitivity, thanks to an optimized design (“Efficiency by Design”).
