Description
Access the technical expertise from the Tech4Fab-CrossS3 workshop on additive manufacturing using filaments and pellets, the processing of metals and ceramics, and functional magnetic composites by downloading the presentations prepared by CRIBC, Buildwise, CNRS, Centrale Lille, SIRRIS, and Pollen AM.
Objectives
The Tech4Fab-CrossS3 workshop explored the technological breakthroughs in extrusion-based additive manufacturing. This series of technical presentations analyzes performance drivers across three key areas:
Smart Materials: Development and characterization of functional composites with magnetic properties for the integration of sensors or actuators.
Flow Flexibility: A Comparative Study of Filament-Fed (FFF) and Granule-Fed (FGF) Extrusion, Evaluating Trade-offs Between Mass Flow Rate, Geometric Resolution, and Circular Economy.
Material Transformation: Processing of ceramics and metals via high-density extrusion (PIM/CIM-like), including challenges related to debinding and sintering.
We would like to thank the partners of the CRIBC project—Buildwise, the CNRS, Centrale Lille, SIRRIS, and the Pollen AM group—for their expertise and scientific contributions to the success of this workshop.
